Manuka Doctor ApiClear Foaming Facial Cleanser, Skin Treatment Serum and Bee Venom Mask Review

Honey is well known for it's health and skincare benefits, that's why I was eager to try some skincare items from Manuka Doctor.

I've previously talked about my oily, acne prone skin, it's a bit of a nightmare at times. The ApiClear range from Manuka Doctor, is formulated to prevent acne and dramatically improve your skin's quality. I've been trying out the ApiClear Foaming Facial Cleanser and the ApiClear Skin Treatment Serum.

Manuka Doctor ApiClear Cleanser and Serum, Bee Venom Mask Review

I always expect acne face washes to be a gel, which is drying, just like my La Roche Posay Foaming Gel Cleanser, but the ApiClear Foaming Facial Cleanser one is a cream, which is super soft on the skin. It foams nicely under water and doesn't leave my skin feeling uncomfortably tight or dry. Recently, my skin has been a little more balanced then usual so I don't have any active breakouts but I think this wash has prevented any more spots occurring.

The ApiClear Skin Treatment has replaced my Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, while I've been testing it. I have quite a few steps in my skin regime, I would use the Foaming Cleanser, then my La Roche Posay Serozinc as a toner, followed by the ApiClear Serum. Unfortunately, I felt like the serum alone wasn't even to moisturise my skin, so I would add my La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Treatment over the top to complete the routine.
I did wake up the next morning and noticed my skin was a lot more plumped and the acne scars looked slightly reduced. I'd like to test this further to see if it can reduce my scars more over a 3 month period.

The last product I'll be talking about is their Best Selling Rejuvenating Bee Venom Face Mask.  This is something I wanted to try because of it's 'bee venom' ingredient. Apparently Bee Venom has a combination of enzymes, peptides and amino acids, which are anti-ageing and help blemish prone skin.
From what it looks like in the pot, you'd imagine it to be a thick face cream, but it's a firm cream, which you slather all over your face and leave to dry. It does tighten and dry like other masks, but it's transparent/off white colour threw me, you can hardly see it as you apply it.
Once it's had 10 minutes to dry, I washed it off with warm water, it gave me a boost of moisturise, without being greasy and my skin looked more plump, like before with the serum.

*Yes that's my unphotoshopped face, shock horror!

Overall, I'm impressed by Manuka Doctor's products. I like the scent of the products, and have a seen improvements in my skin, although they aren't dramatic changes, but changes still. The products are well balanced, the products don't leave you too greasy or too dry and my skin has been thankful for this.

Have you ever tried products from Manuka Doctor?
